Reema Batrwz-Bazy was born in Baghdad, Iraq, emigrated to the U.S. as a Refugee with her parents in 1995. She grew up in Oak Park, a small city in Michigan. She obtained two Associates Degrees with Cum Laude Honors in Applied Science in Paralegal, and in Liberal Arts from Oakland Community College; Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with Highest Honors from Davenport University; and Juris Doctor Degree with Cum Laude Honors from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Reema is a member of the Michigan State Bar.  She is also a Certified General Civil Mediator,  a dispute resolution service sought by parties who decide to resolve their differences in a private setting-most of the time to avoid court and extensive fees while reaching a binding agreement. 

Reema is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), awarded the 2024 Lawyers of Distinction, and the 2025 Best of the Best Attorneys Top 10 Immigration Law Attorney.
