Reema Batrwz-Bazy

Reema Batrwz-Bazy, born in Baghdad, Iraq, emigrated to the U.S. as a Refugee with her parents in 1995. She grew up in Oak Park, Michigan - a small city in Metro Detroit. She holds two Associates Degrees with Cum Laude Honors in Applied Science in Paralegal and Liberal Arts; Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with Highest Honors; and Juris Doctor Degree with Cum Laude Honors from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Reema is a member of the Michigan State Bar and also a Certified General Civil Mediator - a dispute resolution service sought by parties who seek to resolve their differences in a private setting rather than in court to avoid the court process and extensive fees while reaching a binding agreement. 


Reema is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) since 2023. She has been awarded the 2024 Lawyers of Distinction Award and the 2025 Best of the Best Attorneys Top 10 Immigration Law Attorney Award.


Reema has represented clients before the Detroit Immigration Court in Removal Proceedings, the United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS), and at the U.S. Embassies and Consulates around the world.
